Wall of sound album of Februray

deadstar - Somewhere over the radio
Yes I know this album came out about six months ago, but so did their single Deeper Water and everyone has been ignoring it untill now. I have had this album for about four months and basically I had only really listened to about six tracks from it, then Camille Hardy won the wall of sound Top 100 of 1999 competition and picked this album as her prize, so I dusted it off and had a good listen to it. All twelve tracks are excellent but the stand outs are Run Baby Run (No2 on my top 100 of 1999), Deeper Water (No 7 on my top 100 of 1999), Lights go down, Highway 31, Over the radio and Don't leave. I can understand why I did not make it an album of the month earlier (I think it came out the same time as art...). The album swings from rock to pop to country! as do all of their albums (Deadstar and Milk) and I am sure that anyone will find a track or two they like on the album. 9/10 (Well it did get two songs in my top 100 of 1999 and I am sure their will be a couple from this album in the top 100 of 2000)
